Louise is a contemporary painter known for her use of vibrant colors and expressive, loose brushstokes. Her trademark is to work quickly in an impressionistic style while capturing the energy and emotion found in everyday moments. She encourages viewers to connect emotionally with the intensity of her colors, and the spontaneity and movement of her brushwork.
Louise's educational training includes a BFA degree in drawing and painting from the University of Georgia, four years of academic study with Jeanne Nelson Szabo, weekly studio sessions with Ken Wallin and numerous workshops with Janet Powers along with other acclaimed artists. Painting excursions to France, Italy and Mexico have further broadened and enriched her art experience.
